Bazaar At Lucknow Metro Station Gives Women-Run Businesses A Push

The Lucknow metro is making innovative use of free space at Hazratganj station. The free space has been turned into a temporary market providing a platform for women entrepreneurs. These businesswomen are showcasing their projects at the Kalakriti Bazaar at the station. "We want to promote women and their start-ups. This is a good platform with a safe and secure environment. Along with that, we are also giving them a market and consumers. The products sell at reasonable rates," UP Metro Rail Corporation secretary Pushpa Bellani said. (Video Credit: PTI)
