Before Next Year's Elections, PM Modi Unveils Giant Statue In Karnataka

Standing tall at 108 feet and made from 98 tonnes of bronze and 120 tonnes of steel -  Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, a Vokkaliga icon - the Statue of Prosperity - the founder of Bengaluru was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of seers from the most powerful Vokkaliga mutt - Adichunchanagiri mutt. The unveiling of first and tallest bronze statue is seen as a move by PM Modi to woo the Vokkaliga voters just ahead of the 2023 elections.
