Bengal Government Offers Shelter To The Homeless Amid Lockdown
As migrants struggle to get home amid the lockdown, homeless people are hit badly. Most of them who work as rag-pickers and labourers are walking to their villages as employment has stopped. In Kolkata, as part of a government initiative, the police are opening up municipal halls to shelter them.
