Bengaluru Metro: Finally On Track?
The 42-km-long first phase of the Bengaluru Metro is finally ready - and the last stretch to the south of the city will soon be inaugurated by the President. Namma Metro is way behind schedule and is costing much more than was planned - in terms of money, disruption and lost trees. But is it all worth it - will travelling around the congested city now be easier?
