It has been weeks since protests began against the Citizenship Amendment Act. And in Bengaluru, they show no sign of dying down. The Town Hall in the city is the most frequently used venue for these protests, and on Friday, an afternoon protest was held on the steps of the building. The organisers had wanted to hold the protest while Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in the city earlier in the day, but were only allowed to start the protest after he had left the city.
