Bengaluru's Bellandur lake, once again, spewed froth and foam on to the busy roads after all-night rain. On Tuesday morning, the toxic foam rose to almost 10 feet in some places. If it's toxic froth during the rain, in the dry season, the chemicals cause fires on the lake. Crores have been spent on sewage treatment plants, on water sprinklers, sluice gates and high wire meshes, but nothing seems to have worked. Exasperated residents say the froth and the fires just fly in the face of government promises. On Trending @ 10, we ask despite crores being allocated, are there still no solutions to the lake of froth and fire?
