2017 is touted as the year of uncertainty, a year where the global order might undergo change or at least a vacuum is likely to be created with US President Donald Trump promising to turn the wheels on globalisation. At Davos this year, not a single discussion or closed door meeting went without participants wanting to know about Mr Trump's policies. While the Chinese Premiere made an impassioned statement promising to support globalisation, the question on everyone's lips was: does China have the military and financial power to step into the United States' shoes?
For India, the big focal point of discussion was the aftermath of demonetisation and whether the faith on 'India story' is still intact. We also focus on social entrepreneurs, the leaders who are working tirelessly to bridge the gap between haves and have-nots that actually threatens to upset the existing world order.
