Bharti Q3 net down 41%, pins hope on Africa
As it expands its footprint in Africa, India's biggest mobile phone operator, Bharti Airtel, is finding it difficult to connect with the investors. Despite the surge in its topline, thanks to the full quarter's revenues from its African operations, the profit for the quarter slipped more than what had been expected by analysts.
