Bifurcation vs Exit India Debate in Tamil Nadu
Days after A Raja of Tamil Nadu's ruling DMK spoke about reviving demand for a separate Tamil nation if the Union government did not grant state autonomy, a BJP leader in the state has talked about bifurcating the state for better governance. The BJP is a marginal player in the state with just four seats. With no public or political movement towards bifurcation, it has now distanced itself from this. NDTV's Sam Daniel sent this report.
