Big Guns Out In Battleground Gujarat: AAP Drops Abduction Bomb
In Gujarat, where assembly elections are taking place on December 1 and 5, the Aam Aadmi Party claimed their Surat (East) candidate, Kanchan Jariwala, was forced to withdraw his nomination, alleging that he had been kidnapped by the BJP. AAP claimed Mr Jariwala was forced by the police and by goons to withdraw his nomination. But in a twist, Mr Jariwala has released a video saying he had pulled out of the elections on his own, calling the AAP an "anti-national party".
