Jobs have turned out to be a hot button issue in the Bihar election. The agenda was set by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, who has made 10 lakh government jobs his campaign headliner and believes the theme has resonated with voters. The BJP has countered Mr Yadav's pitch with its own jobs promise. Alok Pandey visited a private sugar mill in Bihar's Motihari has been completely shut for close to a decade. Former employees who lost their jobs said want the mill to be reopened. Many of them have not been paid their dues.
