Tejshwi Yadav-led Rashtriya Janata Dal may have emerged as the party with largest voteshare in Bihar, but it doesn't have the people's mandate, activist-politician and psephologist Yogendra Yadav said. "We may have an outcome soon, but we don't have a mandate. One can see Bihar results as a mandate against the BJP and Modi's government but it's not a mandate in favour of the Mahagathbandhan. Tejashwi managed to raise unemployment as a concern, but his 10-lakh job promise perhaps did not click. He brought out the dissatisfaction with the Nitish Kumar regime, but he couldn't translate it into trust for himself," Mr Yadav explained as the Election Commission declared results, but only on a handful of the 243 seats in Bihar.
