With an increasing number of children being pushed into child labour and trafficking seeing an exponential rise during the pandemic, Nobel peace laureate Kailash Satyarthi's Foundation rolled out an awareness campaign in some of the remotest corners of Jharkhand to sensitise villagers on the importance of educating children. Villagers were told to readmit their children in schools so that the risk of children being pushed into labour or falling prey to traffickers could be curtailed. The initiative was spearheaded by Bal Mitra Gram activists of Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation. Watch to know more.
