Drone footage from the Chennai-Gudur section, between Ponneri and Kavarappettai railway stations (46 km from Chennai), captured the extent of the destruction caused by the rear collision of Train No. 12578 Mysuru-Darbhanga Express with a goods train yesterday evening. The accident resulted in the derailment of 12-13 coaches of the express train.
