BJP Backs Out Of Karnataka Prestige Battle
A few days ago the Congress in Karnataka faced protests from party workers after its candidate list was released. Today, it was the BJP that faced the anger of party workers after a ticket was not given to Karnataka BJP chief BS Yeddyurappa's son BY Vijayendra from Varuna seat. The BJP workers protested at Mysuru and Mr Yeddyurappa was seen unable to pacify them. Many BJP workers threatened mass resignation and said they would vote for the rival JD(S).
