BJP Brings Up "Dark Days Of Emergency" To Counter Congress' Constitution Narrative
It is the Day 2 of parliament today and the NDA and INDIA bloc are locking horns in a battle over constitution. After Opposition's protest with copies of constitution, it is now the time for BJP's rebuttal. The party will launch a nationwide programme to mark entering the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Emergency in 1975, to "expose" what it termed the Congress party's authoritarianism and disregard for the Constitution.
