BJP Candidate In West Bengal's Barrackpore Alleges Attack By TMC Workers
BJP's candidate from Barrackpore seat Arjun Singh today alleged that he was assaulted by workers of the Trinamool Congress. Showing a bust lip to NDTV, Mr Singh said he also hit back at the "TMC goon for assaulting him". The fifth phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections began with reports of violence from West Bengal. Voting in West Bengal is being held for seven out of the 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state. Polling has already been held in 18 seats of the state in the past four phases.
