Living on the edge since July 8, 2016, BCCI President Anurag Thakur was sacked by the Supreme Court today along with BCCI secretary Ajay Shirke. The top court removed Mr Thakur and Mr Shirke from their BCCI posts for stalling reforms suggested by the Justice RM Lodha committee. The order comes after a long-drawn legal battle between BCCI and Lodha Panel. On The Buck Stops Here, Justice Lodha explains why the committee didn't recommend a complete ban on politicians, how the reforms will bring in transparency and why he thinks Cricket Administration must be a "level playing field" and not a "fiefdom of few". Justice Lodha tells NDTV that politicians - both from Congress and BJP - have same philosophy once they enter BCCI - gain control of the game.
