Congress candidate Shashi Tharoor today said he was "very confident" that he will win from the Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha seat. "We are standing for very, very clear ideas of what India is all about," as he talked to the media with a scarf on his head. He was injured on head during a religious ritual at a temple in Thiruvananthapuram and got eight stitches. He also blamed the BJP government for doing nothing to ease tensions in Kerala over the Sabarimala row. "Everything that could have been done to ease the distress of Sabarimala believers was not done by the BJP government," he alleged.
