BJP foundation day: Rajnath Singh attends Modi's function, says entire party is united
Days after Rajnath Singh singled him out to become the only chief minister on the BJP's parliamentary board - a group of the party's top 12 decision makers - Narendra Modi today feted the BJP chief at a massive function in Ahmedabad to celebrate the party's 33rd foundation day. Mr Singh's presence in Ahmedabad is being seen as a strong signal of the special place Mr Modi has in the party, but the BJP president has played down the visit. "My trip to Ahmedabad was pre-planned," Mr Singh told NDTV.
