BJP in touch with independent candidates ahead of J&K Polls: J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina
Ahead of J&K assembly election J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina on August 26 said that BJP has announced the first list of candidates and the party will soon come up the second list. The last day to file the nomination is August 27. He said, "Amidst the election bugle in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP has announced its candidates after a selection process...In its first list, the party has released names of candidates for the first phase of polls. The last day of nominations for the first phase is 27th August. The party will soon release the second list...We are also talking to some independent candidates."
