BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga's arrest this morning from his home in Delhi by cops from neighbouring Punjab set off a dramatic showdown involving two parties and police forces across three states. Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a visit to Kolkata, had dinner at Indian cricket board chief Sourav Ganguly's home tonight. The visit was said to be a courtesy call since the Union Minister's son, Jay Shah, is the former cricketer's colleague as Honorary Secretary in the Board of Control for Cricket in India, or BCCI. Her husband was beaten to death with an iron road on a busy road in Hyderabad and a crowd couldn't save him, though she begged for help. Syed Ashrin Sulthana later told the police the killers were her brother and his friends. She wants them brought to justice.
