Votes cast for the Jharkhand assembly elections are being counted today amid predictions by exit polls that BJP will emerge as the single-largest party. However, the polls also suggest that the Congress alliance with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) will win against the ruling BJP. Elections were conducted in 81 assembly seats of the state in five phases from November 30 to December 20.
