BJP's Hindutva Politics, NDA's Muslim Outreach?
There are separate ideologies at work, underscored BJP's Uttar Pradesh ally Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (S), distancing her party from the BJP's Hindutva agenda. "Our ideology is not the same as the BJP's, we are two different parties; BJP has its own ideological commitments, we (BJP & Apna Dal (S)) aren't targeting each other's identities," Ms Patel, who is also a Union Minister, told NDTV in an exclusive interview.
