After resigning as a minister because of BJP's failure to retain the Dausa Lok Sabha seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP leader Kirodi Lal Meena met Union Minister JP Nadda on June 05. While talking to the media, he cleared out the reasons for his resignation stating that he kept his promise made to the people after losing the seat in the LS Elections. "Nadda Ji called me to meet... I had promised in front of the public that I would leave the position of minister if our party loses seats in Rajasthan... The National President (JP Nadda) has called me again after 10 days... There is no obstinacy. I don't want to break the party line... I have no complaint from the party or the CM... I have only resigned because I promised it in front of the people during the Lok Sabha elections," said Kirodi Lal Meena.
