BJP's Swamy Targets Arvind Subramanian, Finance Minister Stands By His Man
BJP parliamentarian Subramanian Swamy, who has taken credit for the imminent exit of Raghuram Rajan as chief of India's central bank, fired a series of tweets today targeting Arvind Subramanian, the Chief Economic Adviser to the government. Mr Swamy's attack was crushed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley who said at a press conference, "The government has full confidence in the Chief Economic Adviser".
