Tarun Vijay of the BJP has apologised after remarks that suggested Indians cannot be considered racist because they are accepting of South Indians. Mr Vijay then tweeted to say that his choice of words "sounds ridiculous and was very bad." He clarified that what he meant- when he appeared on Al Jazeera - was "In may (sic) parts of the nation we have different people, in colour and never ever we had any discrimination against them."
