Renowned for the Sevagram Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi spent the last few years of his life, the city attracts a significant number of tourists. BJP’s Ramdas Tadas, who won both the 2014 and 2019 elections, and has been renominated by the BJP for the Lok Sabha elections, is set to face Amar Kale from Sharad Pawar’s party, representing the INDIA bloc.
