BJP to hold 'damage control' rally in Bellary

The Congress' 'Bellary chalo' padayatra seems to have given the BJP government, in both state and center, some food for thought. Now, to set the scores even, BJP has taken the padayatra route. The big-wigs of the party, from L K Advani to Sushma Swaraj, all are to make glaring public appearances in the next few days. Going all out to restore the party's image and also a quick reminder that 'we still rule'. The need to do some damage control was fairly evident, L K Advani during his Mysore appearance on Saturday stressed upon how he had persuaded the Karnataka Lokayukta to stay on when he had resigned over the mining issue.
