BJP To Push Through Karnataka Anti-Conversion Bill
Despite no clear evidence of widespread forced religious conversion, the Basavaraj Bommai government today passed the controversial Prevention of Conversion Bill. The move, slammed by the Church in Karnataka, comes at a time when members of the Christian community say they have been deliberately targeted over false accusations of forced conversions.
