BJP Vs Congress-National Conference Face-Off In Ladakh Key Polls On Wednesday

Last ditch efforts by parties in Kargil to win over voters as the campaigning for Ladakh Autonomous Hill Council ended on Monday. The voting for the 26-seat Hill Council is on Wednesday and it is a direct fight between the BJP and Congress- National Conference combine. The opposition is projecting the elections as a referendum if the people have accepted or rejected the centre's decision to split Ladakh as a separate Union Territory after scrapping Article 370 in 2019.
