AIIMS chief Dr Randeep Guleria has clarified that black fungus is not transmitted from an infected person to a non-infected person. Covid patients with diabetes and prolonged use of steroids are more prone to get it. No connection of black fungus and industrial oxygen, however, Dr Guleria recommends clean, sterile tubing and water for oxygenation at home.
