The United States has turned into a cauldron of protests as the country screams "Black Lives Matter" from city to city. NDTV's Amitoj Singh reports from Manhattan, New York which saw one of the many protests overwhelming the city. The vigil and march, triggered by the death of black man George Floyd in police custody and the murder of Ahmaud Arbery by white vigilantes, was symbolic as it brought the LGBTQ community to the spot where it all began for them in 1969. While a curfew has been imposed from 8 PM to 5 AM but the protesters and the police remained engaged in a stand-off well past the curfew time.
