Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has sought a return to democracy with early polls but awaits clarity from the Muhammad Yunus-led interim government. Bangladesh elections will also see the return of the Jamaat-e-Islami as the interim government lifted a ban imposed by former prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
