Bombay riots consume Sanjay's story
It was in the Bombay riots of 1992 and 1993 that Sanjay Dutt claims, lay the origins of his lapse. During the riots, sparked off by the Babri demolition, his father Sunil Dutt was actively involved in keeping the peace, trying to protect Muslims from rampaging mobs.
