BPOs cash in on rural talent

The prevailing slowdown affecting the world economy has forced the Indian IT biggies to look at rural Indian market as a successful business proposition for their BPO operations. BPOs, undoubtedly mean jobs. In the big cities a single call centre employs at least 500 people. Rural India could have the same job opportunities as the big BPO firms are going rural, driven not by social responsibility but by good business sense.
