BPSC News | Patna DM Justifies Prashant Kishor's Arrest, Claims Illegal Protest At Gandhi Maidan
Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh defended the detention of Prashant Kishor and 42 others during protests over the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exams. Singh stated that the protest at Gandhi Maidan, in a restricted area, was illegal and despite repeated warnings, protesters refused to vacate. An FIR was filed, and 15 vehicles were seized. Dr. Singh also revealed that 30 out of the 43 detained individuals were not students, with verification ongoing. He warned of strict action against any future illegal protests.
