Brazil Tanker Fire | Fuel Tanker Overturns, 27 Vehicles Torched In Fire On Brazil's Southern Highway A truck carrying ethanol overturned on BR-101 highway in the southern Brazilia's Santa Catarina state in the vicinity of Palhoca on Sunday, causing a major fire and disrupting traffic. Five individuals, including the truck driver and his wife, sustained burns and were taken to hospital. No fatalities were reported at the time of writing. Footage shows vehicles standing in line on the highway unable to leave as fire raging and spreading from one car to another with thick smoke rising.
