The Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress are closing in on a seat-sharing deal for Delhi, Gujarat, Goa, Chandigarh, and possibly Haryana, ahead of the Lok Sabha election, sources told NDTV Thursday afternoon, in signs the INDIA bloc - formed last year to defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party - may finally be getting its act together. A formal statement is pending because some details still need to be worked out, Congress sources told NDTV this evening An agreement, though, is almost certain since the party knows alliances are crucial if it, and the INDIA bloc, are going to stop the BJP from claiming a third consecutive term.
