BRT to continue, expansions halted

Contrary to speculation, the Delhi government decided on Saturday that the controversial Bus Rapid Transit corridor will not be scrapped. But for now, all further expansion plans have been put on hold. Announcing the decision, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said that no other work will begin on any corridor till it is 100 per cent certain that the current stretch is glitch free.
