Farmer Activist On Agriculture Sector's Expectation From Budget
"The figures show the production hasn't gone down but as we have seen for the last five years - the producer is always left behind, For the last five years, there are no figures on increasing farmers' income and what's next is actually an important question. The key question is where do we stand and what really you want to after this. As a community, the farmers are looking at this budget to see - where's the promise of doubling, said Avik Saha, Jai Kisan Andolan President and a colleague of Yogendra Yadav.
