"Not A Budget For The People": Senior CPI(M) Leader Brinda Karat
"If the government is interested in using taxes which would directly benefit the people, first of all, they should have increased tax on corporates, they should have increased income tax for the rich and they should have rolled back the exorbitant loot that they have indulged in the huge hikes of petrol, diesel and gas. This budget is not a budget for the people," said senior CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat.
