Budget 2023: Net Zero, Renewable Energy Among Key Announcements Made For 'Green Growth'
The Union Budget 2023 gives special attention to green growth involving energy transition, achieving the Net Zero target of 2070, mangrove plantation and conserving wetlands. The Union Budget 2023-24, presented by Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of Finance, adopts seven priorities that "complement each other and act as the 'Saptarishi' guiding us through the Amrit Kaal".
