Bihar Gets 'Makhana Board', Similar To Coffee And Coconut Boards
Special opportunity for the people of Bihar which will improve production, processing, value addition, and marketing of Makhana or foxnuts. People will then be organised into FPOs, and Makhana farmers will receive help from the board, ensuring all government benefits reach the farmers.
