Letdown For Middle Class, Finance Minister Has Cheated: Dayanidhi Maran
DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran believes the 'no income tax for Rs 12 lakh income' is not a complete promise but a 'cheat code' to influence middle class voters mere days ahead of Delhi Election. Earlier in the day, in a big relief for the middle class, the limit for taxable income has been raised to Rs 12 Lakh per annum. Which means people with annual taxable income either up to or lower than Rs 12 lakh will not have to pay income taxes.
