Budget Is 10-Year Vision, Nirmala Sitharaman Tells Media

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who presented the Union Budget 2019-20 in parliament today, said that the budget has been presented with 10 year vision in mind. "This budget is presented with 10 year vision in mind. Emphasis on overall development of economy," she said. Ms Sitharaman, 59, is only the second women in the history of independent India to present the Union Budget. Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was the first and only women till now to have presented the Union Budget.
