"I am very disappointed that Prime Minister is once again looking at J&K from the prism of development... this is a problem that is political in nature," said Omar Abdullah on PM Modi's outreach to Kashmiris. On the PM telling Kashmir 'India's azaadi is your azaadi', he said, "the protests you see on the streets aren't about an azaadi equal to azaadi enjoyed in the rest of the country... nothing that he has said will actually address the sentiments we have seen on the streets over the last 32 days". On Islamisation of Kashmir insurgency, he said, "even now when people are sloganeering, they are sloganeering for freedom. Even if the mosques are being used... the slogans are for azaadi, they are not slogans for creating ISIS-like establishment here".
