Burrabazar: A firetrap of busy Kolkata
The fire in Burrabazaar in Kolkata has now raged for more than three days, property worth crores has been destroyed. One trader has died of a heart attack at the sight of his life's work going up in flames. Thousands more could lose their livelihoods. Dozens of other buildings are exactly the same area are similar disasters, just waiting to happen.
