Cabinet Approves Exit Policy for BOT Projects, Developers Welcome the Decision
CCEA has approved the exit policy for BOT (build–operate–transfer) projects post-2009, which will permit divestment equity up to 100 per cent two years after completion of construction. Nitin Patel, executive director at Sadbhav Enginereeing, talks to NDTV about this decision and says it will benefit all developers in India. Sadbhav is also eligible to get the advantage but currently, it is not considering to sell any of its projects.
