It's the students versus the University Grants Commission over new proposed safety guidelines for university campuses. UGC, in April this year, issued new set of security norms for students on and off campuses which includes regular parent-teacher meeting, urging girls to learn self-defence methods, introduction of biometric attendance system, installation of CCTV cameras, setting up of police stations inside campuses. The students, however, believe that these new guidelines will turn the university campuses into jail. Tonight, on Don't Shout It's My Turn, we get you voices across party lines and universities and tell you why students feel that it's an attack on their personal freedom.
